Slow film, a bit of a downer with a two dimensional Princess Diana which takes place over a few drizzly days at Sandringham. Disappointing.

Incongruent. A bit strange. Didn't fully work.

It was okay. Laura Dern was terrible as Marmee. So saccharine. A little bit long and I was bored in parts but overall average entertainment. Some beautiful wide angle landscape shots. Really think Jo should have been meg and vice versa. Amy was good. The grandfather and Beth relationship failed to show how tender and touching it was in the book. Think it's over hyped.

just brilliant - fun, fast moving, excellent acting, and so atmospheric

Loved this - aspects of it are very true to life ! Brilliant.
