If only Hollywood still made love stories like this. Absolutely beautiful, graceful & moving.

I saw it twice. Both times the audience applauded at the end -- for Amy & for Abela (its powerhouse star). Like me, many are rediscovering Winehouse's music. What more do you want from a movie?

Surprisingly intelligent w/lots to say about where our species has been & is going after Covid, Trump/Biden, etc. Like Avatar, it takes time to surrender your imagination to talking apes but the ride is most rewarding.

Riveting! Alex Garland fans know his films are visually stunning, visceral & work on many levels. Some attacks on CW make the film's case: FOX vs MSNBC, Dems vs Repubs, who's a victim vs who's a perpetrator. Go with an open mind.

DOGMAN captures our common pain & humanity in the little triumphs of society's disposables--a beautiful, radical film Noam Chomsky would love: ("I don't steal, I redistribute the wealth."). This is what art does best: it uplifts us as it assaults the status quo.

This beautiful film is about who decides what "winning" is? Its about the ordinary people most of us are and how we can find happiness accepting ourselves and each other for who we are.

Absolutely one of the best feel-good, movies of 2023 & it doesn't sugar coat the issues. The cast is unforgettable.

Discovered this comedy gem during corona isolation. It's the great American immigrant story - the battle between old world values & the assimilation-ist pull of American consumer culture. At a time when Muslims are so demonized that one sees it on the streets of NYC, RAMY reminds us of our common, conflicted humanity. Bravo!

Loved this movie. Gripping, excellent story & when the real-life people it's based on appear during the credits, its emotionally uplifting.
