Vika Thriving-Life

I watch a lot of movies, and while this one wasn't perfect, it's head and shoulders above the average flick. First of all, it made me laugh out loud several times, which is a feat in and of itself. Yeah, there were a few moments when the acting was a little bad, but those faded away before long and I just found myself really enjoying the creative premise and unique characters. The female lead is a hugely charismatic actress, she's going places. I also really enjoyed that there are good men in this movie! And the male lead is really solid, that young man is going to see his star rising, too. It's not When Harry Met Sally, but it was a very satisfying night out.

It might not be the most sophisticated movie ever made, but it is smart, authentic, and with more substance than most of the movies being turned out. I'm disappointed to see it getting relatively low ratings, it's a solid 3.5 stars out of 5
