I love being able to watch the news at 3am but I do not like when a host absent of color (white) is on for a while taking the place of a colored (African american). I do not stand for racism and I'm getting tired of this double standard for it. It's not ok for a white person to say anything remotely close to being racist but an African American person can say a racy remark look at each other and laugh on public television. They are doing it and laughing because they know they are getting away with it. What I am referring to is the episode after coming back from his vacation after having a white cohost take his place kenneth moton made the comment that it feels good to have a little color back in the studio (referring to the white cohost leaving and him being of color now back) if that was a white person they would have been labeled a racist. I cant stand the way racism has affected this country but everyone has to play by the rules.no one is above any one else and racist remarks will not be tolerated from any race in any format,even if it was just a joke.
