Starting off with the positives, the cinematography, production design and costumes, to an extent is absolutely breathtaking. But the writing, direction and the overall pace of the movie disappoints. The star cast is filled with powerhouses of talent, yet, I felt majority of them were underused. The movie is unnecessarily long with a song after every 15 minutes. Editing could’ve been much better and the character development of several characters could’ve been given much justice. Though the climax was thankfully not too predictable, the last few shots and dialogues left a bad taste in my mouth. This movie was painfully long and gave me a bad headache. Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit we’re probably the only saving grace, there are so much heartfelt moments, but they get lost in the absolute chaos the movie creates.
