I found it really annoying. It is very obvious that when they made connections. E.g. episode two when they "figure out" the killer moved to Minnesota. It is quite obvious that these people could not make this connection from one photo. It is obvious they tried to make everyone think they are smart. I think they made the connection after it was realesed on the news because their reasons were just not on point.
