I don't understand all the hate! If you're looking for something with Beetlejuice vibes, this movie is it. It's fun, colourful and highly imaginative.

I don't understand all the hate... The movie is a fun take on the game. I loved it as a kid and I still enjoy it.

Great movie, fast paced with an 80s "goonies" vibe to it (although the movie is set in current times). It is somewhat cheesy but very entertaining.

It was slow paced. I initially though that the movie portrays a slow decent of the character/s into insanity, which would be a fair assumption since the main character has an extensive mental health family history and after all, the name of the movie IS called Hereditary... but noooo, the ending is just a bunch of nonsense. So overall it could have been a decent psychological thriller, but it was completely ruined by the ending.

It's a fun story highlighting free thinking and integrity. The characters are adorable and the songs are catchy. As an adult I found that it was the perfect pick-me-up after a rough day at work.
