my thanks somehow dissipated before I could send them.
I am not a big fan of poetry but my husband gave me Trauma Head as a birthday gift in the hope that it might help him understand more about my hemorrhagic stroke 17 months ago.
When Elee Kraljii Gardiner wrote in Greek? my ability to communicate in French instead of English did not seem so strange.
Those terrible headaches were less frightening and almost "normal".
The Psychiatric Issues in Neurology on page 136 explained behaviors and feelings that even my treatment stall would not accept. some aspects of my brain damage were involved but this was the most difficult part of my recovery. How i wish I had read the book sooner!
I wish here had been more information about what helped in the recovery.
The book was a difficult read for a mere mortal but by the end I could read it (slowly) myself and its taken a while but I just had to say
THANK YOU.
sincerely,
