Does it have generation 8 battle mechanics introduced in a generation 4 game? Yes and it's awesome!
Are they comparable to games like Heartgold and Soulsilver? Haaa.....funny. They're basically the same game. BDSP feels like a $60 DLC that lets you play a modernized D&P with ugly chibi-art style characters that resemble those from Pokemon Rumble.
Are these games worth $60? Absolutely not if you still have the originals.
