PS2's greatest RPG. The art direction is superb. Playing it again for the PS4 and it still looks brilliant. The gameplay is so deep. Battle system is fun. The synthesis! Weapon tree! Fishing! Town building! Affecting the future and.. I need to stop. There so much. Photography, for crying out loud. You can build a town, take a photo of something you built, and use that as an idea in another invention! How many dimensions does this game have? This is the PS2 games that can almost give FF7 a run for it's money in terms of gameplay depth / side things to do. Did I forget fishing? And Spheda? It's a masterful adventure RPG Dungeon Crawler Town Building game with fishing and golf. And a masterful story skin to a fairy tale. Heart the music, voice acting, and there you have it. PS2's most magical game. Kingdom Hearts comes close but Dark Cloud 2 takes the cake. I could be playing for the rest of my life and probably still not discover everything. 10/10
