A “ACe” Ce

Fiction told a way it should be in this medium. Perfect! The low star reviews are mostly from people passing judgement on nudity and sex scenes (feminism, patriarchy, religion - some reasons provided for their discomfort.) There are other uncomfortable concepts in the movie. It's clearly provoking thoughts that many people prefer not to have. That itself to me is a successful movie. I'm not saying these thoughts or concepts are useful - like do we really need a conversation around creating a chicken with a pigs head? Then they're us the adolescent baby brain discovering sex what many will agree is way too early - it's messed up. If nudity and sex and some of the stuff mentioned above makes you uncomfortable then please don't watch this masterpiece.

Adam Sandler on his best day has the most annoying voice and accent. You get to hear it shouted at you for a major part of the movie. I say major part because I could not sit through it - so it's very possible that the whole movie he just yells his lines into his cellphone, across the street, across the room - everywhere. This is probably a good torture chamber movie. Very quickly into the movie you realize he is a gambler with a mess of a personal life and is very messy financially. You don't feel for his character - I didn't. I couldn't wait to shut off the TV. Give this one a pass. He has other fantastic movies.
