Confusingly written movie about a white woman who neglects her black children in her grief but somehow manages to bond with the disabled child she nannies. For some reason, they try to address race- and fail to say anything meaningful. They settle on this white woman's "racial awakening," so she can feel like a hero despite her obvious failures. Disappointing that this was an opportunity to make a film about ableism disability, and instead we get Savior Complex Lite.
