Suman Kachroo

Any movie comedy or otherwise needs authenticity - and if that is lacking then the movie will never succeed. Watched about 10 mins and figured that I'd give the movie a miss. We have these folks living in a provincial town and it is 1997 and Vidya tells Vicky that since he didn't have his mobile phone she couldn't call him. Well in 1997 even decent upper middle class folks in big cities didn't have mobile phones, leave alone a small mehendi wala somewhere. Then you had Vidya's parents who just looked like caricatures, not real people! Anyway, didn't want to waste my time, and from the reviews looks like I didn't miss much!

This is one of the most - actually The most nonsensical movie I've seen in the last couple of years. I noticed Vicky Kaushal as one of the cast members and thought the movie can't be that bad...but it was. I think Anurag Kashyap has lost his mind!

It was an eye opener . A shocking revelation of the extent to which the system can go, if it is hell bent on destroying someone. Everyone should be deemed innocent till proven guilty , not only in word , but in spirit! The duty of Law enforcement should be to make sure that the correct person pays for the crime, not to make sure that 'someone' pays for the crime based on their instinct that they got the correct person. A very well made documentary!
