This movie was difficult to sit through. It was sooooo boring. My kids were excited to see it after seeing the trailer. They bailed after a little while and I watched most of it while I was doing other housework. The animation was really great and it was visually stunning, but the plot was overly preachy and was super uninteresting. The story was predictable. It was like Moana, except that it wasn't clever or entertaining and there were no surprises or fun songs. There are much better things to watch on Netflix.

This was an enjoyable twist on the whole "former badass trying to lay low has to come out of retirement and kick neverending butts revenge porn action movie". Once my willing suspension of disbelief kicked in, I found myself gleefully captivated by the fight scenes. The ending is fairly predictable, and I hope this movie is successful enough to justify making the sequel that we were promised at the end.

Lady Gaga was great. Bradley Cooper was great. The acting in this movie was skillful. Some of the songs were great. Why then, was it such a boring movie? It's because there are so many interesting and fun to watch movies about real celebrities. When you make up a fictional celebrity, it's just soooooo hard to connect to the story because... Who cares! Stories about the actual rich and famous people are cliche. Stories about fictional celebrities are just ugggghhhhh!

I really enjoyed this movie. It's brilliant and surprising and hilarious. The characters were fresh and terrifically acted. I haven't watched many "dad" movies lately because my kids need a lot of attention and I'm usually too tired to watch grown-up stuff after they go to bed. I also don't like watching the same predictable action movie over and over again with different actors and settings. I was convinced that all the good ideas were taken and just being worn out over and over again. I almost wished for a sequel, but I suppose it would just be a shameless cash grab...ha ha just kidding. I'm kinda disappointed that this movie wasn't more successful, but the important thing is that I was entertained tonight.

This is such a weird show. It is so enjoyable to watch. Between me and my sons, (ages 3 & 5) we've watched every episode several times on Netflix, YouTube and DVD/Blu ray. Occasionally the 3-year-old will even dress up as an Aquabat and he named our minivan the "battle-tram" (he found a toy A-team van at daycare and carried it around for a while calling it the battle-tram). I've been an Aquabats fan for many years, and I was pleasantly surprised at how watchable the Super Show! is. There are so many fun elements to this show. I'll list a few: goofy commercials, cameos, Cartoons!, tropes, tributes and the occasional homage. In a perfect and virtuous parallel universe, some wealthy persons are investing in the Aquabats and funding the creation and promotion of more seasons of the Aquabats! Super Show!
