Hi Chas On the 'Fireside Chat' you confidently stated that no one looks at statues- Perhaps you should get out more or I should get out less!I love going to towns and looking at every statue and monument and old building and graveyard. I have even done this in DC.I did query why no statue to Thomas Paine! In London they even have talking statues - commentary given by pressing a button. Love the show but not everyone shares you easy come.......approach to history.
