Both funny and tragic. Had some real belly laughs but the best satire is thought provoking and this movie makes a very salient point thru all the gags

It's an extremely powerful film. The critics are just responding to the rightfully voiced concern and controversy. Do we really need this film at this time? That's debatable. But what's NOT debatable is the the POWER of this film. Phoenix needs to be nominated. His acting is astonishing
