This is an experiment in storytelling, it challenges the audience to adjust to a fluctuating timeline, and a variety of characters with their own place in the sweep of time. So much of the success of any movie is the ability of the audience to connect with the action. Unfortunately, not everyone can appreciate the tidbits of connectivity that are sprinkled throughout this film. I was moved by the human frailty, and the portrayal of Richard and Margaret’s marriage and separation. For me, it was thought provoking and interesting. I felt like I needed to watch carefully to see clues to the connectivity of the various scenes, Not everyone will be able to engage with the ever-changing panorama, or enjoy the overall effect of this film.
