You have to be predisposed to like the Paranormal Activity movies. That's the only way I can describe it. This is the sort of slow burn that only interests a certain sort of person. You get very little actual horror in the beginning of each movie and then a primal load on the back end. You also have to invest yourself into the entire back story of Katie's decidedly witchy family, or you're not gonna be in for the long haul of the series. In my opinion, PA 3 is the best of the bunch, but 2 has its moments.

First episodes are meant to draw you in. I wouldn't subject myself to another one of these if you paid my rent and washed my clothes. ...for a year. How are there two seasons?
