The diving into the philosophical nature of Truth and what is real, the music, sound effects and special effects were woefully filtered. Leaving anyone who has sunk their teeth into the trilogy saying (meh—to—ok)! It had the potential of being truly phenomenal, but only plopped and fizzled. The original Matrix, I watched a hundred times and left me wanting more. This, I’ve watched twice on HBO max streaming and once in theaters. Thinking I hope the next one is better. Fortunately the brilliant qualities of the franchise can still serve as a springboard from mediocrity. It was good but not great. Maybe the next will be better.
