I was scrolling TV channels one evening and just happened upon My Crazy Ex... OMG, some of the episodes were hysterically funny, other episodes were a bit more dramatic, yet there was humor, but also leaned toward teaching a 'life lesson'. You will definitely make comparison(s) to some of your own crazy ex's. Ah, memories :)) I will say this, once I landed on the My Crazy Ex channel, I couldn't flip to another channel.

I didn't expect to enjoy the film as much as I did... every minute from start to finish. I adore Burt Lancaster's gnarly and divisive character in this film and Ossie Davis' ability to one-up his co-star characters at every turn. The last few minutes of this movie left a smile on my face.

Saw the Deer Hunter on opening night at the Mann Theatre on Hennepin Ave. in Mpls. At the end of the movie, I had difficultly getting to my feet when it was time to leave the theatre. And It wasn't because this was a 3 hour feature film. It truly was because I was so emotionally taken by the film, I felt physically weak. Edit: I've just read a few of the recent 'so so' reviews and I must admit that I wonder when (what year) the author(s) first viewed this film. I grew up during 60's decade when the Viet Nam conflict was at high pitch and friends, neighbors, and family were being called/drafted and others volunteering to serve. When I saw this film, my memories of the letters I received from a close friend who served two tours in the 101st Airborne reconn squadron came to life.

Decked Out has become one of my FAVORITE shows!! The guys and gals are superb with their craft and incredible designs. I guess I am a bit emotional when it comes to fabulous 'transformations' of people's outdoor space(s), because I'm sitting in my living room hoop'n & hollerin' at the simply gorgeous finished product. And then there are those few homeowners that walk out into their NEW back yard with their semi-flat monotone reactions... repeating, 'oh, it's lovely.' WHAAAAATTTTT!!???
