I throughly enjoyed this. Especially if you’re familiar with the Book of the dead. The purgatory was amazing. No offense, but many aren’t intellectual enough to appreciate this book. People wanted to see winter grow up, people expected growth. That’s the thing though with authors, they don’t always do the expected. The fans could of written the book for all of that. Winter didn’t mature and that’s ok. How many adults do you know walking around with the mindset of a child? Prison doesn’t promote growth, it stunts it. So yes she came out the same exact person that she went in as. It’s not as if sister Soulja couldn’t have written character development. It’s prominent in her other series. Midnight was even mentioned in this book with everything that he’s ever wanted. The way that the writer write wrote detailing purgatory was amazing. I really really wish she came out with another book in the midnight series tho. I’m in love with that man.
