Personally I think there was a lot of ambiguity in this movie for a reason. I believe it was meant to evoke a lot of thought, questioning ourselves, questioning our beliefs about race, pointing out our traditional belief systems and how they affect the next generation. The list goes on and on. It almost became overwhelming, the number of cans of worms this movie opened up but I felt it was all relevant and necessary. All the questions this movie posited have to be answered within our families and our relationships with each other if we're to ever gain any kind of understanding. These kinds of questions, events as portrayed in the movie is the gut level of where it starts. We move on from there if we're willing.
