It's an honest to god remake of the original games, to those who complain about there not being any platinum content.... it's not a remake of platinum?, this game in my opinion is a good enough remake which you can get alot of value out of if you don't set your standards too high, the ratings are lower mostly due to the unrealistic expectations of the pokemon fandoms, keep in mind this is developed by a 3rd party so in some cases, it wouldnt have as much love and detail as a first party pokemon game, that being said there is enough new content to warrant buying it, with the grand underground and ramanas park, i dont think people talk about this enough but the in battle models and animations are really smooth and good looking, the lighting in the game is fantastic and the chibi art style doesnt look that bad, i'd give it a 7.5/10 because it does reignite that flame that alot of pokemon trainers lost a long time ago, and it faithfully recaptures the essence of the original games.
