Tough crowd. This movie was released in 1987 for crying out loud! It was then and now, a great movie that was the first of it's kind. Sadly, more than likely, you'll never see another movie like this again.
It's 2022, and I noticed Bill Duke's character (Mac) used the term "ghosting" when he confronted Dillon (Carl Weathers) about giving away their position earlier in the movie. Although used differently, it shows it was a movie ahead of time in terms of cool phrases, movie plot, that was replicated (unsuccessfully) many times afterwards.
Awesome movie! I miss the good ole' days.
