V.J. Morrison

Cinematically I was disappointed. The filming was very linear. For instance; the dining room looked half the size as it was on television, even though this was shown on a theatre screen. It claustrophobic. I just loved the sweeping long views of the television production. I think they used a different filming company fir the movie and it was very apparent. The storyline in the 1st hour was disjointed but because I love Downton so much , I embraced it. Costumes were incredible as always.
