1. I would really thank the stars and the planets that lit up the night sky, that I didn't waste my money and time in watching this movie in big screen. I fast forwarded through the irrelevant songs and few scenes which saved some of my time. Yes I did waste nearly 100 minutes in going through this experience.
2. Before I begin the tirade of my experience let me bring out that this movie will be enjoyed by the following categories of audiences.
(a) Those who have not studied physics
and mathematics after 10th Grade and have
barely made the passing marks.
(b) Tiktok users.
(c) Splitsvilla, Roadies and Skull & Roses
viewers and participants.
(d) people who just think moving pictures
on a screen is entertainment.
(e) Viewers of indian Soap Operas.
3. The character research and treatment is shallow. The research on how a space program is developed is absent. Everything else other than space sciences is present. The plot development moves from one social message to another. And director doesn't miss out not even a single opportunity to stuff us with nationalistic fervor. And that is achieved corny dialogues, over acting without getting into the skin of a character.
4. I really don't wish to talk about the cinematic aspects and technicality of filmmaking as it was absent in totality except the initial scene where an enquiry and subsequent transfer of the male protagonist was being carried out. The lighting, framing and POV in that scene is worth a mention.
PS. I wish there was an option for giving black stars to a movie. The overall success of this movie is something to worry about as it gives a reality check regarding the audience in this country.
