some may not consider this a horror film.. but you would be wrong.. its ABSOLUTELY a horror film and this is arguably the best Christian film ever made besides The Passion of the Christ. make no mistake this is a thriller. sean patrick flanery puts you on the edge of your seat and you never want to let go. he put on an amazing performance that in any other era would be oscar worthy. even as a Christian, i cringe at almost every Christian film. they are usually horrible. so i realize the endorsement i made above may not seem like much. however, i mean it. even if you arent Christian, you owe it to yourself to see this film. ive heard some critics say that Jesus isnt mentioned in the film. they would be wrong. if you pay attention, He is absolutely mentioned.. many times in fact. and the way these scenes are done is so refreshing. FOR ONCE, its not some cheesy, corny scene that makes you want to walk out of the theater shaking your head. make no mistake, there IS Christian messaging in the film, but its not preachy whatsoever. these scenes are really really well done and i hope other Christian creators take notice of what was done here. You outdid yourself Steve Deace. This film is unbelievable. Congratulations everyone on an amazing film!

pop quiz hotshot: you are in the mood for a popcorn action flick starring keanu reeves but dont know what to pick. now what do you do. purchase Speed and call it a day. this is on of sandra bullock's best performances and one of my first crushes. keanu is his usual awesome self. reaves is easily one of the best action hero actors of all time. if you are expecting a compelling plot, realistic scenarios, and oscar winning performances.. you are doing it wrong. that's not what this movie is.. its just pure adrenaline fun. i love me some comic book movies, but the world needs more of these kinds of flicks. and no remakes.. make some new content already.

Dragon Age 2 was fairly controversial.. EA had its usual DLC issues with Black Emporium and there is no doubt the gear system is much more streamlined and there isnt a whole lot of gear customization when it came to your companions.. also, the environments are laughably bad. just god awful. so why the 4 stars? the combat IMO is the best in the entire series. its fast paced and yet it still has the real time with pause system. i really wish they would have kept that system for DAI. there was no reason to go to.. whatever that was Inquisition had. also, you could allocate attribute points as you saw fit every level so at least from that standpoint there WAS character customization. it's a shame we didnt have that kind of freedom with the gear. in addition, i really enjoy the companions in 2. pretty much all of them are good additions to the dragon age lore. its just a good solid game overall. the 4th star is because of the combat which again, is super underrated in my opinion.
