Please watch the original animated ova - Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal, a true masterpiece. I am sorry this live adaption fell short for me. I could not watch it all the way through. There were key elements of the animated ova that was not presented here such as main character’s origin. I will go into details but watch the animated version and you will see why this live action is a underwhelming film in comparison.
