Spoilers. Nothing in this movie makes any real amount of sense. Vernon is hunting down his wife through the whole movie for killing their child. He kills a dozen people to get to her and when he finally finds her…? They make out as if nothing happened for the last hour and a half of runtime. The premise is interesting, Russell Core as a protagonist is a very likable character, but nothing meshes. The best scene is past the halfway point where Cheeon fires an LMG for ten minutes and no one manages to land a single shot on him until the sheriff does him in. All in all, movie isn’t bad just really under developed and it would’ve been better to pick any other Arctic horror novel in my opinion.
