It's been a long time since I've watched a coming of age film where the whole cast wouldn't be shown smoking a couple of cigarettes each per scene. I'm a 25 year old B.Tech graduate, my collegemates used to smoke but not like that's the only thing people do. This is a much realistic portrayal of village guys, they drink occasionally but rarely do smoke due to the stigma. The setup seems natural, It's been a long since I was immersed into the fictional setting of the film. Although not having a star-studded cast, the acting and performances are topnotch. Sound design and songs are a pillar that carries the movie without it itself getting to forefront, that's how well they have integrated the songs. The conflict point in the movie is a bold choice by the director knowing the character of it and possibility of getting massive backlash if the execution lacked even by a bit. I felt sorry for myself for not watching this movie in the cinemas

Seriously, haven't expected i would like the movie so much. Through its gonna be a routine romcom with dumb stand-up jokes, although they are some of them. The movie is quite satisifing weather it be the cinematography, screenplay, art... I assume the The movie is brutally shortened and cut-off so as to not bore the audience and let the content & moral to be passed on. Kudos to the team Really loved the film and characterization.

This is really disgraceful,the movie is such a classic with it's due reputation. But due to the lockdown all kids and dum dums sitting at home binge watching this classic in recommendations after watching senseless garbage like Armageddon and likes...they are not able to appreciate the greatness of this classic. This movie when i saw last time had a respectful rating but now...! You can clearly see all the 1 star ratings were made just within this year SENSIBLE Movie lovers Please do leave a 5 star rating along with a short review ,upvote this if u share me view ,so others can see this Thank You
