This game feels nothing like any of the Black Ops titles to me, it feels like Modern Warfare: Remastered, which it is, just reskinned, Zombies are ok, not as good as previous titles by far. Multiplayer is boring. I have no idea why people keep buying these stupid clones. They went from using hit scan weapons to using actual bullet travel time past certain distances. When playing the massively multiplayer modes and sniping, I can tell you that the bullet travel they implemented, at least with the Pelington 703, is no where near accurate. Either the bullets are moving too fast or too slow, I can't really tell (too slow compared to real-world counterparts). They try to create such an "immersive" fps experience but they miss so many details that just ruins it for me. Any specially trained sniper unit is going to be using tracer ammunition, so why can't I see my own bullets and adjust? It's not fun to guess where my point of aim needs to be. If you enjoy the multiplayer, I feel bad for you. It is the exact same thing over and over, nothing changes. Mag capacities don't make any sense (for example; dry reloading an AKM-style rifle irl with 30-round mags will yield 29 bullets in the mag and one in the chamber. After that round is locked into battery in the chamber, the magazine is no longer full and can be reloaded to yield one extra bullet. In COD, no. Maybe these AK's are firing from an open bolt lol.) The weapon mods in this game are just made up, meaning a lot of the attributes that they give your weapon are unrelated to the attachment whatsoever. (Hauer 77 reinforced heavy barrel increases fire rate by 5%, the only thing that would improve fire rate of a pump-action shotgun would be a more disciplined user. Hauer 77 cavalry lancer barrel increases vehicle damage by 250%. Idk what the logic behind that one is but ok Activision.) A new addition to the game is the weapon details where you can see in-depth details about your weapon, what attachments will do for you, which is nice, until yet again, a lot of details don't make any sense whatsoever. (Centering speed is measured in ft-lbs which is a measurement of torque, not speed. Keep in mind this is a standard unit of measurement [feet, pounds]. However bullet speed is measured in metric units, m/s, and movement speeds are measured in mph. Idle sway control and the recoil control attributes are probably the worst since they are measured in joules, a unit of energy, and then whatever an Fc is. (I googled it, its a Femptocoulomb which is one quadrillionth of the amount of charge that a constant current of 1 amp produces. Makes sense to me.) Anyways, it makes for a very confusing experience when modifying some parts of the gun. The muzzle velocity on the Pelington 703 is 500m/s, same as the XM4. The real-world counterparts of these guns are the Remington Model 700 chambered in 7.62x51mm and the Colt M4 chambered in 5.56x45mm. 7.62x51mm ~ 750m/s, 5.56x45 ~900m/s. This would explain why sniping is awful in this game, you have to lead your target almost twice as much as you should have to in some cases--BULLETS SHOULD BE GOING FASTER ALL ACROSS THE BOARD. Some people may enjoy this, I don't. No guns besides snipers and shotguns will one shot in the head. People are bullet sponges, with an AK-47 you have to shoot a player 4-5 times to kill, even though the 7.62x39mm bullet it fires has similar muzzle energy to the 7.62x51mm bullet that the Pelington 703 uses that can one shot players in the chest. The lack of content in this game is unreal. The maps are tiny, and there's not that many of them. One zombie map. The game is unfinished, and $60.
