Millennials alls have officially ruined Sci-fi. The Niko, Cas, William, and Zayn are the only characters worth anything and with them it’s only half the time. The rest are a bunch of unprofessional, whiny, incompetent 20 somethings that are tasked with saving the Earth, I’d rather die. How do you get on such a critical mission with such weak psyches? Everything needs to be talked out, it’s therapy every single episode. No uniforms, so it’s tight tops and women (UNNECESSARILY) in their underwear way too often. Then there’s the over sexed chica...... The high school students moonlighting as undisciplined crew.....the LGBTQ guy/girl/one who is 90% of the time the most disciplined and professional person on the ship. You find yourself hoping that they’ll all die so that more capable people are awakened....except for Zayn. Zayn is ok. When the writers end about 25% of the sentences with the word “so...” you know you’re not dealing with Emmy level writing. I’m starved for Sci-fi content so I’ll trudge on, but be warned.
