I support those in the media, trying to tell the stories that impact their community. I support the young ones that have worked hard and developed a skill and I am sorry that you entered your profession during a time when you are so disrespected. I support that your reporting may not align with my ideals or the ideals of others but that you are diligent in your craft, to tell the story. I respect that you hold firm to your own convictions but never let it interfere with the way you handle yourself and the respect that you give to each person you encounter. I respect the fact that you have to fight the battles of the men in the stories you tell because the world doesn’t seem to understand that you are the teller of the story but you aren’t the author of their book. A thank you to the ones who show us the world and to whom the world shows so little. ❤️ (Could not be more proud a person Cameron Derby. To the ones who can’t support him, see yourself out.)
