So I’m not even pro-life but this was a terrible movie. Abortion is fine as long as a woman is educated about the risks and side effects and then makes the best decision for herself. And if you’re a teen, you should definitely talk to your parents about it, not cross several states without them knowing to get the procedure. Unfortunately this movie did not show the heartbreaking decision at all. It acted like abortion was no big deal, just something to go on a little road trip and get some ice cream after, while the best friend preaches to the other girl’s FATHER about taking responsibility for your child. How ironic! This whole lighthearted approach to abortion is a total slap in the face for women who make the excruciating, painful, but ultimately best decision for themselves. I support ‘Safe, Legal, and Rare’, not abortion on demand. Mark my words pro-choicers, this is not a movie that accurately represents the pro-choice movement and the majority of Americans. This is absolutely a pro-abortion movie and just gives pro-lifers leverage to use against the movement.
