This movie is a serious topic! It's opened my eyes to many things. Good cast of characters...several we all have seen in these classical 1930s & 1040s movies. Bette Davis as well as Bogart were on their way to top star status when this movie was released.

This series, which, along with a few other from USA Network, were to my wife and me...Super Good productions. It made us, during the few years the shows were aired, fans of that network. Can't say at all that USA is on our list now. Much has changed over the past several years. "Covert Affair" kept us very attuned to its story lines. Like our first favorite of the few shows aired years ago: "White Collar", "Covert Affair" and "Burn Notice" had real class. It literally introduced many of the older viewers like me, to good performance acting. Yep...sure miss "Covert Affairs" and those others.

It's a bit amazing...the French plot movies of the old cinema days can be good to very good in plot. This movie: "The Green Glove" released in January of 1951 puts this type of espionage design movie fantastic to watch. The scenes of post WWII made in France have beauty to hold one's interest. Good actors...a few fairly well known helped main actor, Glenn Ford, do well in the scenes. Too bad the movie was in black and white, though the shadows that B & W filming does bring an air of mystery to the audience. Glenn Ford was quite a fantastic actor. His voice is one that can't be firgotten.
