Massive fan of the original so I was quite excited about this being a ‘continuation’ - however I felt that it moved way too fast, so many things were unexplained and what was the random obsession with the spelled guy. The only real connection to the original was the connection to Nancy Downs right at the very end of the film (but who was her father - Manon?) Definitely over hyped...
