A little too long and loud; And trying too hard to add glamor! I expected technical details about how Ford created a few cars capable of, not only competition, but victory at Le Mans! This was not covered in the film! Also, Ken Miles death was not explicitly detailed! I liked how racers of that era were able to build machines using their instincts, relying on sound and their extensive racing experience! I thought Damon’s portrayal of Carol Shelby was perfect! Bale’s acting may have required greater study; but Damon’s portrayal of Shelby made me wonder how will he react now! It always was an entertaining surprise! I recommend the film! View it in a large modern theater, bring earplugs to bring the sound to a comfortable level!
