I enjoyed the movie immensely. I too am a program coordinator for GED and the National External Diploma. A comment was made that was very disturbing to me and that was that GED is a small step above a drop out . That’s not true, the new 2014 brought more opportunities for a student to receive a college credit if met with a specific score. The key is knowledge is power and regardless of the program an adult may enroll in , we should not discourage them that one program is better than another. It’s an opportunity for a new beginning we all have a story and those that come to us for guidance we must remain positive and embracing. This movie was very motivating and truly enjoyed see real people with real life situations.
