Despite all the other reviews i have read, this movie to me as a 37 year old father of 2 girls, WAS AMAZING! The fact that there were so many more characters introduced in this film, was truly epic. Now, i will say my soon to be 9 year old daughter, was not a huge fan of the film. She did in fact fall asleep. My soon to be 6 year old daughter, was on the edge of her seat the entire film. When i go to the movie theater to see a film, i invest my every moment to whats in front of me. It was a breathe of fresh air to see the turtles re-imagined. Despite what others have said, i enjoyed the background story for these (4) teenage turtles. I loved all of the new pop culture references that were made in the film. "Did they milk you..." "Stay away from the humans, they will try to milk you..." I really hope when this gets released to blu-ray, there is some sort of awesome collectors edition. Once it hits VUDU, i will be buying asap. BOTTOM LINE: If you want to relive some child memories from the cartoons and the toys, Mutant Mayhem is for you, If you are going to go into this film expecting comparison to the other films from the 90s, don't bother! First time ever writing a review... I hope this helps.

I was so excited to see this film after a long over do wait. After I sat and thought about it, I will have to say that its good, YET... cheesy. I think Jamie Lee Curtis was not in the film enough, the flashbacks at the beginning were stupid and pointless. I felt that the writers had no idea where to take this film, I think Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy was a terrible idea. His character could have been left out, even though Tommy is a pivotal character from the very first Halloween. I loved the female characters from the 1978 films that they brought back. Myers's kills were awesome, his screen presence was amazing, the mask, the gruesome deaths, EPIC! I am very interested to see how HALLOWEEN ENDS will finally put an end to the Michael/Laurie saga. Now we all must wait. 5/10 stars.
