Shelley Epstein

As a child growing up in the 50's and 60's this was my favorite book! The brilliance of the author's creation of new words, as well as his use of tricky rhyme fascinated me. The amazing illustrations by one of my favorite artists, Ben Shahn completed this classic children's book. This book should be treasured by all of us who have the wordsmith bug in us! I am getting a copy to share with my grandchildren now who enjoy playing Words With Friends with me. It's a natural progression and fun learning, especially during this quarantining period.
