This is just a plain awful game. I've played cod since the og days back on pc and they have been on a steady decline the last few years. I actually enjoyed Cold War, and had high hopes for the "back to it's roots" theme of Vanguard. Trash. On a Series X on an 8k TV the graphics look meh and the colors are absolutely horrible. As other have said, at any distance you can just see a players name since the characters are all the same colors as the map. Love shooting at floating names! Being able to add 350 attachments to all guns was a questionable change. The spawning is comical. Since half the maps are the size of a New York studio apartment, you spend half the game getting shot in the back immediately on respawn. The sbmm is fine if its an option and not a requirment. That's always been part of the fun, jumping in a random lobby and having the opportunity to either clap or get clapped depending on the draw of the lobby. Now it just feels like even in casual games you have to sweat to have a decent time. Zombies should just be removed from the game it's so bad. Zombies has been a long time favorite, and this is by far the worst ever. Broken local multiplayer. There's no reason a game should be released with busted basic features. They pretty much removed everything enjoyable from previous zombie generations and made some slapped together trashcan fire just to toss it in the game. Some of my best gaming memories are from CoD but now it's clear it's just a cash grab from them to throw one out each year with no regard for the core customer. Just like everything else these days, I'm sure there will be a slew of 5 star reviews from bot accounts saying ohh golly gee this is the best cod ever. If you think this is 5 stars you've never played another CoD game, or another video game period before. Keep up the good work Activision.
