Carrie Ansell

Probably the third time we’ve watched the series as it is so beautifully shot and acted. The music and cinematography are stunning. I love the costumes and sets. It is very moving with just marvellous characterisation and plot flows effortlessly along. The battle scenes are incredibly well directed and give the sense of the futility of war. Marvellous and perfect escapism for lockdown
