Story is a complete joke. You simply can't expect people to look past the surface when you force people to play the majority of the game as the character who killed off Joel, one of the most beloved characters in the series (even if what he did in tlou 1 was questionable). I'm sure there's a ton of "hidden meaning" in the plot, but no one cares when the writing is so poor and the player is angru during the entire playthrough. The gameplay is extremely repetitive and gets old after a few hours, unlike tlou 1 which added plenty of cutscenes, exciting encounters, and puzzles to add some diversity. Definitely do not buy. If you really want to, just watch someone else's playthrough of it and enjoy the extra $60 in your pocket.
