If this movie were donning a Halloween costume it would be that of a “horror movie”. It reminded me of all of those people in highschool who wore brand new, expensive skateboard shoes to the skate park and just sort of pushed around not trying. They would post photos online to make it seem as if they were part of the scene and actually skateboarding. The movie had the “shoes” but nothing to back it up This film on paper is a horror/thriller but it does a great job at being neither. Many confusing and baffling moments of dialogue that made me shake my head and say out loud to myself “what?”. It relied on production power and special FX use wayyy to hard to try and skate by on the poor story line (no pun intended).
