Avoid this movie! Yes, there are false rape allegations sometimes; however, majority of the times the rape accusations are true. Majority of the times, in rape cases, it is not that the innocent gets sentenced, but rather the guilty who walks away free (whether it be due to the rapist’s power, social standing, money, bribery and corruption, or lack of admissible evidence). To make a huge movie with a talented actor, only to showcase a false rape claim and proving that the survivor was merely seeking revenge is the most irresponsible way to use Section 375. The director and writer are only adding to victim blaming with the use of this film. Extremely disappointed with the ending, and misuse of such great talent.
