I watch this movie a few times a week since January, 2022. My coworker recommended it & I recommended it to my fellow Chinese drama fans. Everyone who saw it really loved the movie. What I love about this movie is the plot and best of all, the happy ending. Cliché is what others call it. I love happy endings. I’m not entertained by sad & tragic endings. I was watching King’s Woman. Everything is beautiful. 48 episodes. I decided to watched how it ended and if it’s worth watching the whole drama. To my disappointment, Dilraba was killed by the king, her husband. I was on the 24th episode. I’m not proceeding. It’s a waste of my tears & time. I don’t want to be traumatized & have PTSD. Same thing with “Novoland Pearl Eclipse.” Sad ending. At least Yang Mi didn’t die but her marriage ended badly. I’ll be watching this movie every week for years for all the sad Chinese historical dramas I watched. “You are my sunshine” movie is my antidote for the sadness in this world, love stories that never ended well & life as a whole. I wish the quality of the movie is HD. It had foggy, hazy scenes and not good resolutions but in spite of that, I’ll bear with the imperfection for a fantastic, happy ever-after ending! Plus I like Yang Mi. “You are my glory” Is another awesome drama. Happy ending. Remember, it’s entertainment. This world is full of sadness. Happy ending is an antidote even if it’s just a make-believe. Hope you listen to your fans.
