I personally love this show for all of its realness. First, they have actual teens playing high schoolers, which is sadly uncommon? Second, the fact that almost every actor had some form of skin texture was amazing. It’s so nice to see that acne / acne scars are being normalized, especially for teenagers. Third, mental representation. Willhelm’s anxiety and Sara’s aspergers were incredible to see portrayed accurately without making it their entire character. Fourth, the normalcy of LGBT in this show. It wasn’t a big deal, and everyone was DEF a little fruity. Overall this is one of the best shows netflix has ever put out and if I don’t get a season two I’ll riot :)
