My daughter recommended this episodic show to me and it hooked me almost immediately. The issues facing the indigenous amazonian tribes parallel what is happening today with the burning of the amazon forests. All of the mysticism, metaphysical analogous events, and tribal interactions with outsiders is all too real. It was a truly enjoyable yet disturbing presentation of the struggles and challenges faced by the natives, and their desire to maintain their original ways of life. A must see for all.
