Very solid acting. Compresses the history of the civil war and the ill fated construction laws following the end of the war. PBS has a wonderful documentary about this period. But, a dramatic film well worth watching.

Powerful, gripping story of heroism and brotherhood under fire. It is impossible not to be moved by what these men did under horrific war time conditions. Remarkable film!!

Anti war drama about an interesting pro-active patriot spy. Does not mention however, Karl Fuchs and other spy’s that were more influential in providing the soviets with more crucial scientific information about the bomb. Curiously, these most important KGB agents were not mentioned. Worth watching however and the acting great!!

Really an emotionally rich, and compelling experience of people locked in a situation in which there are no real winners. The characters are developed with some depth and honestly. A rewarding cinema experience. You will not be disappointed.
