Not funny in any way. A boring plot line which kept jumping between current murders and one from 50 years ago.
Too many characters to keep track of; some described in great detail and others barely get a mention from 1 half of the book to another.
I failed to see why every few chapters were written as diary entries which didn’t add anything to the plot line, other than increasing the word count.
Random characters spring up from nowhere, which may have only got a passing mention 50+ pages back, if at all.
The overall motive for the murders was wrapped up in a few lines, after spending most of the book making vague guesses and second guesses as to the who/what/why.
Dull & very politically correct so as not to possibly offend anyone, ever.
One of the worst books I’ve read in a long time. Will definitely be avoiding the sequel.
